Review Orphan Teams

When enabled Attestation policy Review Orphan Teams will review all Teams in your tenant seeking for those that are orphans based on the settings you have under your configuration. A Team is considered orphan when the owner does not have O365 license, is Disabled or removed from your tenant. Teams where owner have one of the three situations described would be considered orphan after the grace period is over (depends on your configuration you can review it here). When the decision is made the attestation case is closed and history is kept for future reference.

Review Orphan Teams #

1.Go to Governance

2.Click on Attestations

3.Select the My Pending Attestations tab

4.Filter the grid selecting Review Orphan Teams and click Search

5.Click on Actions or on “…” to review the details of the case

6.ezTeam will redirect you to the Orphan Team resolution screen.

Note: ezTeam will suggest an new Owner based on activity of the members of the team to facilitate the new owner assignment process.
